The nose pad / pad arm set that we use in our frames is a revolutionary, modern and extraordinarily practical system. It is a German development, patented in the U.S. named PRIMADONNA°. This system is constructed of two parts: the nose pad and the pad arm. The nose pad provides the support on which the eyeframe rests on the nose. The pad arm is the connecting element between the eyeframe and the nose pad. The nose pad is constructed of extra soft silicone, a soft material that adapts perfectly to the contour of the nose. The fitting system on the nose pad / pad arm allows the universal movement, (i.e. movement in all directions) of the nose pad allowing its whole surface to rest on the nose eliminating discomfort and irritation (red marks) in the contact area. At the same time the system ensures the almost permanent fitting of the nose pad. The nose pads we use are symmetric which allows them to fit indiscriminately in both arms, (i.e. there is no left and right nose pad, both are identical).

Moreover, the PRIMADONNA° system:

Allows for smaller nose pads and is therefore less visible than other existing pads.

Has a stronger arm, less susceptible to breakage due to the one-piece construction of the pad arm.

Is the most comfortable and adaptable system in the market due to the all-directional rocking motion of the nose pad. This allows all the surface of the nose pad to be in contact with the nose, eliminating discomforting pressure points.
